Andreas Eschbach studied business informatics and co-founded a software company in the canton of Lucerne, which was successfully sold to the Sage Group in 1997. Since 1997 Andreas Eschbach has been working as a consultant in the banking and insurance industry. From 2003 to 2005 he worked for PwC New York. After his return from the US, Andreas Eschbach was entrusted with building up the Risk Assurance practice of PwC Switzerland, which he passionately led across national borders as Managing Partner for more than 13 years. From 2017 to 2020, Andreas Eschbach also had the operational responsibility over Risk Assurance area of PwC Europe and was a member of the Assurance Executive Committee of PwC Switzerland & Europe. In his 22 years at PwC, Andreas Eschbach has advised national & international banks and insurance companies on process assurance, M&A, post-deal integration, blockchain, financial market regulations in the technology sector, transformation assurance and cyber security and has worked in over 50 countries. Today, Andreas Eschbach is an independent consultant and board member.
